human rights in China

When Beijing successfully petitioned to host Olympic in 2001, I was still in China. The government promised to improve human rights before 2008 Olympic Games.

"Surprisingly", they haven'y kept their words. Six years later, the conditions are not improved at all, or even worsened in many aspects. China government should stop prosecuting political dissenters. China's crackdown on activists threatens Olympics legacy.

One World. One Dream.

should we treat this like we did the Berlin Olympic Games?

Not necessary. We should use Olympic Games to hold China accountable over human rights. China should immediately cut off all its ties to Sudan. Genocide is a crime against humanity.
