Baitout?

They want 700 billion dollars from the taxpayers and they want it now!!!

American taxpayer are never so furious. It seems like Congress will approve this massive massive baitout plan in a matter of days without thorough consideration.

Wall Street has all figure it out. They will pocket all the profit in the good time and ask for bailout from the taxpayers in the bad time.

This is the best business model ever! In this line of business, it seems like the more your screw up, the more help you will get from the government. This is the the modern welfare for Wall Street. It rewards risky behaviors and punish prudent choices.

Baitout? What about the bailout of those people who struggling to repay their credit card debt from month to month? What about the bailout of 47 million American who don't have health insurance? What about the baitout of the single mothers who work two shifts and have no time to take care of the kids?

Wall street, the party is over. It's now time to pay.

Palin's daughter's boyfriend

I just finish watching Palin's speech two minutes ago. The funniest thing happened after her speech. Sarah, Palin's pregnant daughter and boyfriend walked up to the stage holding hands. His name is Levi Johnston.

I bet he would never dream that he would show up in the center stage of Republican National Convention waving to the crowd awkwardly. He is faking his smile as he walked to the center of the stage. What is he waving at? Is it "hey everybody! I am the guy who got her pregnant" ???!!!

Just days ago Levi Johnston was just another school ice hockey player from Alaska. Today, he was shaking hands with the would-be next US president in the glare of the world's press. He found himself right in the center of the political spot light.

He should be proud of his "achievement". Look at his bright "political career".

Life is a such a joke... LOLLLLLL

today afternoon

Today in my Korean martial art (Yongmudo) class we did many non-stop back falls and face falls. My body and my head starts to feel the pain. I guess the more sweat now, the less blood in the future. =)

Immediately after Yongmudo I went to Poli Sci 179. Today's speaker is Robert Reich, the former Secretary of Labor under the Clinton Administration. He has been this class multiple times.

Everytime he showed up in the class he always talked about how his dated Hillary Rodman back in collegem, how he met Bill Clinton in a boat to England, how Clinton asked him to be the Secretary of Labor. Today is the third time I heard him bragging about this. Hehe. He is a cool speaker and very funny guy.

He went on talking about economics, stagnant-wage, recession, income inequality and social justice. The engineering guy in me was taking a break and the social-justice guy in me just was totally enlighten by his speaking. =) Robert Reich is also a professor here. I will try to take his undergradute class next semester in the Public Policy department named Wealth and Poverty. It's definitely worth it.

Anyway, today is a fun day...

To me much is given, to me much is expected. Thank you Lord!

God wants to surprise me

“If we will keep God first place, if we will walk in His ways, all these blessings will overtake us.” - Deuteronomy 28

Even though I didn't see a way, that doesn't mean this is not a way. I thought the obstacles were there to stop me, to weight me down, to keep me away from my dreams. Instead of them being a stumbling blocks, God have turned it into stepping stones that took me to a higher level. God has a way.

A long time ago I felt like I was at the back of the line. I couldn't get a break and I couldn't get ahead. All God did was to shift the direction of the wind. All of a sudden the last became the first. Just a simple surprise the wind have changed directions. God's favor is blowing me away.

I am still astounded that I am in college, especially in Cal. =) I can’t wait to see what God is going to do this year. It's no big deal for God to have me at the right place at the right time.
